    Default Under Dash Trim

I am installing a Trailer brake controller in my VE SS.
The panel under the steering wheel needs to come off so that i can mount it above your left leg, but i can not see any screws attaching it. Giving it a few getle pulls and it seems attached somehow.

Has anyone removed this panel that can shed some light on how it comes off.

    Thanks
    Scott

You will need to remove the plastic bit just above the pedals, before you remove the knee bolster panel.
Very easy to do, should take less than 5 minutes to get access to it all.

Have a look at this page,
(Scroll down to about half way, and it describes what you need to do to get access to and remove this panel)

You can remove and refit the trim under the steering wheel without removing the plastic trim above the pedals.

    Default Not that easy

So i have taken off the trim and the result is 1 clip broken.

This was not that easy to remove a lot of force was required to budge those clips.

I will take a pic in the next couple of days of the back of the trim so you can see the location of all the clips
