shame you need to sign up to that "keep and share" website

. there's better free hosting out there that allows users to just download.

im still waiting to see a manual that has the SIDI variants listed, and not just the old v6, v8, and pontiac references.

Yeah it's the same but some people just may want to download one PDF at a time.

I just used that site because I could access it here at work. It didn't say people needed to register.

I'll do it properly on a different site

As for no Pontiac references.... You might be waiting a while. This manual comes from the states because the US car companies allow customers to have this sort of info which is why its so easy to find it on the web. Here in Australia where the car is built though, god forbid if we were allowed easy access to it - dealers would lose all that business. I doubt you will see the SIDI stuff as well for the same reason plus the fact that the SIDI was not released in a G8

list updated. There are other bits and pieces in the manual but I thought these were most relevant. If something is missing, ask and I will post a link. I havent added auto because they are larger files. I will get them up there though

Hmmm... I'm not sure how I fix that. I just uploaded the files to that site (there's approx 100mb in files). I don't know what to do to get it to work. Maybe it doesn't like me adding all those files in one hit

Yes, its the G8 manual you can find on those type of sites. Like i said in post #3. I simply thought it would be beneficial to have a quick access to it in here for those that hadn't seen them. The thread can be deleted now we have all these other links people have posted..........

By any chance are you able to get anything on the 3.6 SIDI engine, 6 speed automatic transmission, LSD and anything on the HVAC system, particularly in relation to the series II vehicles with climate control and the IQ system.

Interesting concept. Perhaps its because more people in the US know about their equivalent of the Department of Fair Trading... Holden seem to think ze Germans are out to steal all of their billion dollars worth of long lunch napkin ideas

Funny thing, I started making a website 2 months ago for all the service manuals just by clicking and downloading the links, but had stopped it for a while due to work... will be finishing it off soon though.

Thought I was gonna post it sooner but looks like you had thought of the idea too

Great job though.
