I recently picked up my VE II Berlina International sportwagon, previously I had a VE Omega Sportwagon.

I had a towbar on the Omega which the dealer transfered to the Berlina, but the wiring has not worked since it was installed. After about 4 goes at fixing it, the dealership now tell me the wiring is different between series II and series I? And want me to buy a new wiring harnaess for it @ $275 fitted, on top of the $400 they charged me to transfer to the new vehicle.

Does anyone know if this is correct?
