how to remove mark on black paint

i have a mark on my hood and it is not a scratch but it is a mark. it hasnt scratched the paint but there is a mark as if someone has marked it with 4 fingers.
how do i remover this mark? i have put up a pic but it isnt the clearest of photos. looks a bit worse in person.

I've always used "Quixx" scratch remover ... simply magic for such scratches.

On the other hand, for a black car I highly recommend TurtleWax "Black Detailer" spray ... showroom appearence in 10 minutes.

machine polish with a polish that contains no fillers, other wise using a filler polish will just hide the marks
