how much should I pay for a VE SV6 ute?

Hi all

I am after the following

VE ute (08 or 09)
Auto
80,000kms or under
Full Service history
Stock ( not even a hard lid )
Voodo blue, sliver or maybe white

Ideally I want to pay around 22k for one. is this a realstic price?

i traded mine in 6-7 month ago, for $23k 08 sv6,auto, 84k kms, factory hardlid & silver. At the dealer you may pay more than 22k privately you may hit the mark.

bought a 2010 sv6 ute with 22,000kms a couple of months ago

paid $24k plus my 2004 falcon which was worth about $4000

just an update. I found a nice ute (09 model, 40,000kms ) but the dealer won't go lower than 29k driveaway - which I reckon is totally crazy. That's almost in new car territory.

Good luck in Sydney mate. It's gonna be tight but you got nothing to lose so don't be afraid to squeeze those dealers as tight as you can! Don't give an inch.

Keep in mind I got a 2010 sv6 with 22,000 k's for $24k plus a trade of a 2004 falcon which was worth about 4 grand.
