Help urgently how do i get into my ve commodore with a flat battery it is a 2006 model berlina have been in hospital for 3 weeks now cant get in tried both my keys and wont open up any one have any ideas or able to help me with this changed both remote batteries still no good must be complettley dead as no security light flashing near stereo.
Use the key to manually unlock the boot then hook a jumper pack to the battery and try unlocking it then
Hi mine i dont think has a key hole usually use remote or button in glove box if it has one on the boot its new to me
Key in door wont work?
Silver Certified.
Hi no boot key hole so what now must be some way of getting in as must be a safety concern to holden
No key in door wont open it all it does is turn have tried both key with a little force but nothing clock wise and anti clockwise have never had this problem before as car always driven only had near flat battery when spending day washing and forget inside light on
There should be a boot release behind the back seats. Pull the center seat down and it should be a yellow release on the drivers side.
I think they also have jumper points in the engine bay on the passenger side you can use to jumpstart the car.
Edit: unless you can't get in the car at all?
Hi i cant get in to car period as has been sitting 3 weeks while i was in hospital i can now assume that my car was not recalled to fix the battery drain problem in this model there must be away of getting the doors open have tried again with both keys again still no good

Yes I know, if you get anymore manly you are in danger of making yourself pregnant!
U can jack the car up, hook a jump back to ur alternator wiring positive and ground, that will feed the car battery to get in,
I hear racv can't get in the new commodores, their methods r let's say, obsolete....
I'd seriously doubt that.

welsh is right racv dont know how to get in to these modern cars have spoken to a lot of locksmiths and some have ideas and some dont so will keep you posted as to how i go i cant jack car up as have had back op so thanks for that reply also
My VE has a key hole in the offside front door handle. I would have thought the key would open the door/doors manually so as one can pull the centre of the rear squab down to get to the green tag in there to open boot.
Jump start tags are under the bonnet, not in the rear near the battery.
If the racv haven't figured out how to get into it yet theyre useless.first you need a small wedge to open the top of the door ( i used a blood pressure tester and pumped it up, also does no damage) so you can get the wire in. Then manually unlock the inner door lock above the handle with a piece of wire with a nice little bend on it. Once that's done pop your bonnet and put the jump leads on but be ready with your key as the alarm will sound immediately.
Hope this helps I left my keys in the boot so had to figure it out myself
Careful not to damage ur car
