Hi guys,
I'm a brand new Commodore owner, picked up my first one yesterday. A 2010 Series II SV6. Lovely vehicle and a great drive, however the bumper around the rear park sensors are not in good condition, 3 out of 4 look like the bumper wasn't cut professionally (see attached photo).
What do you think are my best options?
New bumper?
Panel beater to smooth off these holes?
Any recommendations greatly appreciated, preferably the cheaper the better but I'd like it to look like new.
Cheers eggs.
Is it a second hand car or u buy it brand new. If it's second hand it my have been in accident and they replaced the bumper with one that doesnt have sensors. It looks as tho they cut them out them selves.
I would source anutha good one with the sensors cause it will be a headache trying to get it spot on like nothing hapnd to it. Or way up your options. Take it to panel beater c how much to fix then c how much a second hand 1 would b from wreckers or out the paper cause people take the factory ones off to fit HSV kits on. Do that and pick the cheaper way to fix it.
Thanks for the reply.
Yeah it's 2nd hand. I'm guessing it's been rear-ended. Where's the best place to buy a new one with holes already in?
Cheers
Wow...that's ghetto as ####.
Somebody obviously couldnt afford a hole saw.

Thats phucking disgracefull!!
Whoever did that needs to be shot.
Yeah the only fix is a replacement bumper. Id try wreckers first might even find one with the sensor holes if youre lucky.
Silver Certified.
It doesn't mean that his car has been in an accident, previous owner might have fitted the parking sensors themselves and if a mechanic did this shame on them.
