    Default Ve Engine temp

    Hey all,
Just got my ve ss ute back from the panel shop as it got hit in the front. I had a new radiator fitted and my engine temp seems to be sitting a bit high was wondering what other peoples cars sit at normal so I can compare as I cant remember
what my car use to sit at before the smash.
It is currently sitting at normal operating temp in between 1/4 and 1/2 on the gauge is this normal?

    spot on.

mines always under half, and if its ever over half you should be keeping a closer eye on it. all my previous cars behaved the same way.

Make sure it has no air in the cooling system, this can happen if not bled and cause the car to run hotter. I always use a empty 2 litre plastic milk container or similer cut the bottom out of it put in top of radiator and fill it up so the coolant is higher than the engine. VZ's and VE's don't have a bleed nipple so this option works well.
