Hi, I have had the same thing happen to me now twice, been driving car down highway for a while and turn off and get stuck in traffic when I feel a clunk type feeling.. Hard to describe.. And my car is stuck in 3rd gear and engine warning light comes on.. I can't manually change gear through sports mode either.. I took it to holden 1st time and they said there were low voltage codes that had come up.. I have since changed to a bigger new battery and it's been fine for a month or two.. Did it again at the exact same spot as last time.. I'll bring it back to holden and c what they recommend bit if anyone knows or has heard of this before any thoughts would be great cheers aaron

Had a similar problem with my ve ss auto. Mine would lock in 3rd when under load. Tried new software for the gearbox but that didn't work. Would have to pull over and restart car to unlock the gearbox. I found I could manually shift all gears as long as I took it easy and didn't put my foot down. Took it back to holden. They replaced the gearbox.
