I dont know if it would be the same with the newer systems. Mine if you pull from the bottom eventually comes off. I'd pull the gearstick back so you dont smash it, it does take abit to come.

take off the trim on the drivers side of the center console, you will get access to the radio plug in there

Do what hakhawk said. Taking the facia off won't get you anywhere.
The trim should come out really easily (it's only clipped in) and you have access to all the wires going into the side of the Headunit

If its the same as SSV, put your hand at the bottom of the stereo and let your fingers curl up underneath. Then pull. The fascia is simply 'clipped' onto a metal plate of the actual head unit itself.

I can't remember which one but its in one of the trim ones of theses

Bonners is correct that is how you get the face plate off ^^^^ but to install a LOC you don't need to do this. you need to just pull the scuff plates off the drivers side they both just pull down there you will find the wiring harness and go for your life.
As i put in your other thread you may want this
