Just a FYI on a really strange problem I had (now fixed). Its an '06 VE omega BTW. Several different problems happening from the one cause:

Noticeably rough gear changes
Bad fuel economy (not terrible tho, about 2-3 litres/100 more then usual)
Dash would flash up "Security Lockout - Vehicle data mismatch" or similar for a few seconds every now and then, and lose music/audio for that time
Dash would flash up "service reminder" and sound a chime for about .25 of a second at random times while starting and/or driving, then disappear.
Indicators would occasionally slow down. Sort of like tick...tick....tick.....................tick.tick. .............tick...tick...tick
Lose the centre dash/radio/air-con altogether. Nothing on screen, pressing any/all buttons did nothing.

So for about 5 tries I reset the computer by removing the battery connection etc, and everything was perfect for a while but then start happening again. Each time the car drove for almost the same km's before the problem returned - approx 60km.

No check engine light ever, no-misfireing, but I took a punt (educated guess maybe) and replaced all the injectors. Problems totally gone for about 2 months now, so i consider this fixed. Anyway just thought I'd put this in here as an FYI for future reference, and just coz it was so weird.

BTW the car has 180k on it and ran the first 160k on e10 due it being a company fleet car. I don't touch e10 personally, but just an observation, especially with the early injector failure - they should be able to go longer then this.

Oh yeah, I got a new genuine set of 6 from NZ off ebay for $220 the lot. Holden wanted $130 ea.
