Hey guys just had a quick question,
Does anyone know if a front HSV 2008 bumper fit into a 2011 SV6 Series 2?
Any help will be appreciated
Cheers![]()
yes, you need new(series 1) headlights though
The Mad Dutchman
So the series 2 headlights are different to series 1?
Ahhh why cant they just make everything easier for us...
Cheers for that anyway![]()
series 2 lights taper up at the bottom at grill end, series 1 are flat at the bottom all the way along
The Mad Dutchman
May as well get SSV series 1 lights just for the projectors.

Apparently series 1 SSV lights wont fit in a series 2 from the holmart website
Arrrgh ill just skip the conversion for now. Darn pricey all up. knocking me back more than $2000
(New Genuine) VE SSV/CALAIS/HSV UPGRADE HEADLIGHT (TINTED) LH
the grills are different from S1 to S2 as well which may be an issue with the bonnet.
why bother with the HSV bumper put a HDT one on it, it'll fit better and look different not like a HSV GXP wannabe
Spend the 2k elsewhere. Adding a bumper to make it look like a knock off HSV is simply a waste.

haha all good guys...
Thanks for all ya opinions...
Rufys: You should be more open to different ideas and opinions and reason out why its not a good idea not just saying "its a bad idea"
It would help out newbies like myself in not spending excess amounts of cash in stupid mods
Cheers
Oh god, first a knock off HSV and now Tourers? Tourers are bloody awful to say the least.
Tourers = excess amount of cash in stupid mod.
If you are looking for wheels, best bet is to go to a wheel place and get them to bring out rims so you can see how they look on your car.
Everyone has tourers because they are cheap AND there is so many out there it's easy to picture them on your car.
Seriously, there are some awesome wheels out there that suit VE's very well.
You will get more satisfaction from comments to the tune of "Wow.. those wheels look awesome on your car" rather than "Y|Hey, I've got those on my car too..."
At the moment it sounds like you've got cash burning a hole in your pocket and you are looking for the quickest way to spend it.
My advice, slow down tiger. Take a moment, do some research and find something you REALLY want on the car rather than jumping from idea to idea based in some forum comments.
take a look at these if you really like the black/machined wheels look
Advanti choppers Chopper Wheels
Advanti gauntlets Gauntlet Wheels
PDW sovereign home
personaly I dont like this trend but its popular atm

if it was me, i like a good set of ve hsvi rims, for the fact i like factory rims and they are subtle and classy and not many people have them unlike the tourers(with the exception of supersports)HSVi - SS-V

Well ive got a VOODOO blue one.
Had a look at those HSVi wheels... Pretty awesome looking and expensive
Now the only thing i need to do first is lower the ride down. Was thinking of getting the pedders 2954/2955.
Think the drop is like 40mm with the stock 18's. Would 20 inch wheels fit with that setup?
