Rattle second time around.

Hey guys,

I posted about 2 weeks ago about a rattle going over bumps which was driving me insane.
I'm not too sure, but I think these things may be the problem. They move a little on both rear sides and have a slight rattle..




I also noticed the brake pads are a little loose. I recently got the brakes done, but I'm not sure if the pads are supposed to move. The front clips and pads don't move...

So you started a new thread??? Next time just continue the original one...

Anyhow, the other thing to check is the heat shield for the exhaust under the car. It's common for it to rattle and be genuinely annoying (and hard to diagnose).

Sorry bro.

I think I need to take the brake pads off and bend the tabs to stop them moving...but I have no experience on the VE.
Any tips on removing the brake pads?

Confirmed: The rear brake pads are loose in the calipers, causing them to knock against the metal enclosure over bumps.

How would I rectify this?
