So im looking at getting a Holden Sportwagon because i need it for surfing and snowboarding. However just wanting to know what seat covers to get for the car i know probably stupid question but the guys down here in autobarn dont know that much i heard i need 60/25 seat covers. Just wanting to confirm that these are the ones needed. Also any problems with the airbags causing difficulties with the seat covers as i heard the rear covers need to be brought from holden.
hey nickyG,as far as i know you can only get the seat covers from holden, well that was the case when i got them about 8mths ago and they werent cheap either
Front and rear from holden? Is that due to the airbags? im not sure where all the airbags are located.
they are in the actual chair.... on the sides.
and yes, i wouldnt be putting any other seatcovers on except from holden themselves.
you really want cheap chinese knockoffs on there, wondering whether the airbags will be able to deploy properly if needed?
holden seatcovers only bud. they cost more, but they will work 100%.
sweet cheers for the info now all i need is a car and then im good to get them
There are a lot of airbag compatible seat covers available these days. I got mine for my VE SII from Supercheap.
The area where the airbag deploys has a lot less stitching to ensure it breaks when the side (seat) bags deploy on the front seats.
The custom rear (in stock) for the sedan was a great fit too, considering what I paid for them
