Air Con Noise
In both my 2010 SV6 Ute and SSV Sedan I've noticed a slight rattle coming from the AC vents in the centre of the dash.
Has anyone else had a rattle or unwanted noise coming from these vents? If so, what was the problem?

Yea iv had this, well sounds like the same thing. Hold ur rear dimister button and turn ur car on to accessories. Keep holding the button till u hear the flaps be hind the vents moving. They will keep moving for 30 seconds or so then stop. Shut ur doors windows turn radio down and fan speed down so you can here them moving as they are fairly quiet. After its finished you can turn your car on and the problem should be fixed. If its the same thing it used to drive me nuts and this fixed it. Think its called a HVAC recallibration or relearning. Someting like that. But it works none the less.

Yeah this resets your a/c door open and closing relocations.
If this doesn't work you may have a bug/rock flicked up into your intake side of the vents. I had a huntsman in mine . Scared the crap out of me when it went through and hit the vent
That's the last thing you want coming out of your AC vents :S hahah
