    Default Head lights dim

Hi, just a little thing. More. Curious then anything, at night I've noticed when I use my power windows, my headlights dim slightly then go back to normal, every time, any ideas?

Do you notice anything else? If you put the aerial up or down do you get the same? When the a/c cuts in and out does it happen?

Quite common if so, because something would be putting additional load on the electrical system quite probably.

All 3 VE's in our family do it.
I think it's just slightly more load being put on the electrical system, nothing to worry about though.

The fact that they do it does not make it "normal". It would suggest undersized components or faulty connections. Perhaps at the next service get it checked as it is repeatable.

It's just the alternator adjusting to the load. Can only just pick it. I looked for ages testing the voltage regulator all the connections and checking for software updates. But to no avail so just left it as is.

It is just the load of the motors, they actually pull the voltage down a fair bit.
