I got a couple off ebay a while back for utes, i haven't looked there for a while now, but mostly they only sell ones for the sedan and tell you to get adventurous with the couple of spare back ones you get.
But i think if you're patient and look about you should get lucky, they're about, you just got to find 'em.

Making your own from car vinyl could work out cheaper? Unless you want the stainless steel look.

Holden do not make genuine sill plates for VE SV6 or SS only HSV and only come in a sedan pack(4)

All others are non genuine, as some on eBay state genuine

I've seen a few Series 1 SS sedans with what appears (to me at least) to be genuine sill plates. RUF-60L has them for one. He might know more. But certainly none for utes - you just have to bin the spares.

I have the HSV ones on my ute (I know SV6 + HSV = ****wit, but its nothing major) anyway, the rear door ones can be used. I have placed one in the glove box, there is a nice spot in the rear that faces straight out and fits pretty good.

I was sure they didn't make sill plates for VE Commodores part from the HSV, could be wrong, not the first time either lol

as said, ziggycv8z is your man, think it was 60 or 80 bucks for a pair for the ute, they are really good quality and packaged well for the post, definitely buy some

My 07 sv6 has them. Just thought they were standard unless previous owner put them in.

A guy I went to trade school with last year had a brand new s2 ssv and his didn't have them. I just guessed Holden stopped putting them on to cut costs.

No modification will be needed, door sills are the same size as sedans.
Some people lie so much they begin to believe there own bullshit.
