Default VE SS UTE suspensions same as SportWagons ?

    Hey guys,
Long story short, i need to remove my king springs and struts on my SS Sportwagon and put original ones back in.

Do any of you know if the SS Ute uses the same struts\springs as the wagon ?

The reason i ask is because i can get a complete set brand new for $350 but they are off a ute, and planning on selling my king set afterward.

I'm doing this because i'm sick of scrapping the bottom of the car on every speed hump i come across.

Alternatively, if any of you are interested in a king set i am willing to swap for your factory set.

    Cheers.

Yep, they fit. I have the OE springs from my ute if you're in Sydney - struts are still in the car for now though, sadly - because I'm an idiot.

    Thanx for the reply TinSnips...

Are you 100% certain they fit ( front and rear ) ? Also, what is OE ?

Are you looking at selling your springs or swap them ?

    Cheers

    ***UPDATE***

With the help of one of our members ( TinSnips ) who very kindly donated to me a set of SS Ute springs, i can confirm that they do indeed fit the SS Sportwagon.

I have just finished fitting these to my car and i am very happy with the results with the car sitting 1.5 to 2 inches above the tyres. No more scraping on speed humps !!! yay..

TinSnips, thanx heaps for your help.
