its not your car....................................but that about what is worth. only issue is you probably have to spend $40k+ on another overpriced new car to get that trade-in price and you loose about 15% as soon as you drive it out the door. at least its your dads loss and not yours.
yes it is.
I dont have to buy another car they will just buy it for 27k but he recommends I sell it privately and get 30k
you lack some cred --> VE SV6 Badges
but I think thats about all they are worth given you can get a new one for mid to low $30s and as you know mods = no more value.
I baught the Car Brand new Im not 18 so I cant drive it on my own yet .. ? it is My Car I dont have t justifiy anything to you at the end of the day I own the car so you can say what you want..
TECHIANCALLY MODS DO ADD VALUE THEY TOLD ME YESTERDAY.. he said it would be around 27k and I asked even with the mods and he said around that..
Debadging your dads VE will most likely devalue it not add value! What mod's has it got?
Why does he want to trade it in, he would be a lot better off selling privately!

Welcome to the internet where people have opinions that you might not like
i agree with this, the dealer when having a closer look will offer you about $24-25k as they are not making money on a new car & there is shit loads of series 1's in the yards, the only thing going for it is thats its a manual.http://www.carsales.com.au/private/d...ind=sv6|CarAll
and you dont make extra money on mods
The Mad Dutchman
He said he would wholesale it and even if he makes 500
LOL. ^^^
If you want to sell the car, and Holden has offered you $27,000 for it, take it. Who cares if you could make an extra thousand or two selling it privately. It could take WEEKS to sell it, plus you'd be letting a heap of tyre kickers drive it, sit in it etc...
You will inevitably loose thousands on your next car purchase anyway, so saving a thousand or two NOW won't mean shit.
