    Default LED Tail lights

Hey guys just ordered myself a new hazard yellow sv6 and should have it by the end of this week. the first thing i want to do is change the tail lights to either this or this because i like the look of the yellow ssv's but dont want those tail lights. the first pic is of smoked chrome LED lights and the second is the same lights but in clear and black. just need some help on deciding.

I'd chose the SSV lights. Aftermarket ones generally tend to look cheap and nasty. Spend the money once and spend it right.

Basically they are made to ADR standards but are not approved to be used on a car.

everyone does the ssv lights so gotta be different, only difference are that they're clear and not red. i'd get them if they were led like hsv ones but will be getting a set of ssv projectors.

    +1 for SS-V.

Im also thinking with the aftermarket lights, if an LED blows you cant replace it like a normal bulb. Might be wrong...
    Silver Certified.

I agree with what you're saying but different doesn't always mean better. Sometimes the factory can design something MUCH better than an aftermarket mob can. SSV taillights (especially when compared to the LED ones) is a classic example.

On the money. LEDs are typically soldered onto a circuit board and while they can be replaced it isn't an easy fix.

I've seen much worse than those in the OP, but I'm with the "SS-V lights are best" club.

Most of those led lights will come with a lifetime warranty on led failure
