    Default Can Holden's iq system be used in anyway to track your car?

    Just wondering incase my car is stolen or if there is any ways to track it?

    Quick answer.. No.

    Your need a way for your vehicle to send data out in to the world, to be able to know where it is.
    The IQ system may know where it is, but unless you can communicate with it, (via GPRS, 3G, etc), then you will not know where it is.

    If you wish to track your vehicle, you should look into a dedicated tracking system.
    They are easy to wire up, and most insurance companies will give you 5% discount on insurance if you have one fitted by a licensed security installer.

    If you wish to DIY, search eBay for TK-103 protocol compatible models. These are the most widely supported, and are very good in terms of bang per buck...
