Has anyone fitted a sub into the IQ system? If so what's involved? Thanks
2 ways of doing it, LOC or RCA.
LOC is the simplest, you can use the signal coming out of the current speaker wire and convert that to RCA output for your amp(s)which then sub
RCA is harder, involves pulling the dash apart and soldering RCA plugs to the IQ system which then plugged into the amp(s) then sub
I have personally done LOC first, wasn't happy with the results. Then went RCA direct from IQ. It has to be said that I have changed all speakers in my car, so if your adding a sub only LOC maybe ok
