Service vehicle soon means a trouble code has been logged.

Needs to go to a Holden dealer or workshop with a scan tool.

if its anything like the vz, your oil pressure sensor may be buggered. Svs has nothing to do with your service reminder

Correct. Did that little trick to my VE just before Christmas. It's not mentioned in the VE books either FWIW.

I repair Commodores for a living and have advanced diagnostic accreditations with Holden, i think Id have a fair idea.

    SERVICE VEHICLE SOON :

The service vehicle soon message displays when a non emissions related concern is detected by the BCM. The IPC displays the service vehicle soon message on the DIC. The general warning chime sounds when the warning is active.

The normal service reminder does not say Service Vehicle Soon.

    nuff said.

I never said your were wrong mate. I asumed he posted the wrong information and there is a very simple solution for this.

Get you car serviced and they'll clear it for you. Your car's under warranty with those km's so I would do it in your backyard yourself. A few guys posted how to clear it so do some reading mate
