Error on CD Player VE Omega

Hey there just wondering whether anybody would be able to help. just recently an error message come up on my cd player saying "cd error check disc" but there is no disc even in the cd player. my car is an 07 Holden Ve Omega. any replys would be greatly appreciated.

Actually, when I took my '07 Lumina for a test drive I noticed this error message.

The dealer said he'd get it fixed. They ended up replacing the whole headunit/fascia.
