    Default new here...

Hi, I am new to this site and wanted to introduce myself.. I currently drive a 2011 Chevy Camaro 3.6L and live in Las Vegas, Nevada. my performance mods are only K&N aircharger intake and Flowmaster 40 series exhaust. I joined this site to get some insight/ideas on what you guys with the 3.6L sidi LLT engine are doing for performance? I know a few guys here that got in contact with MACE enginering and installed there insulators, and love it too. so what you guys doing? are there tunes over there yet or just trifecta? thanks for the info!

G'day mate and welcome, there are tunes for the SIDI, and all the other usual upgrades like what you have done... although mine has nothing done to it so wait for a better response,

Post your ride up and include pics! once again, Welcome to the forums

    Hey '11camarol,

Good to see some more Camaro folk on here

In regards to SIDI mods here besides the bolt on stuff, I believe that there are some custom FI items installs happening. The tunes we take care of with local vehicles is via Power Pro Flash.

This aside something we're playing around with at the moment

hey man would love to see some pictures of your Camaro as I have a major crush on them there's a few bolt-on mods your can do I find these interesting the CPR manifolds and there's a few guys doing turbo kits too. As usall there's not a huge aftermarket product for the humble V6 atm althought MACE will help you out and are very good to deal with and then it just depends on how much you wanna spend.

thanks for the welcome... heres a couple of pics...these first ones are a little bit older..before my new stripes

MACE ive been hearing about the cams your coming out with from bmorecam on camaro5.. i cant wait to see some videos of a cammed 3.6l and all the talk about your 25mm insulators really makes me wanna get that too lol.

I would love to see some pics of your commodores... i really like the commodores and think GM here should let australia design more of its cars... there is a rummor they will rebadge the commodore for Chevy here...i really hope so. 2 of my 3 favorite Pontiac's are australian.... newer GTO and G8. A previous car i had was the Pontiac Grand Prix GTP with the 3.8L supercharged.

I think a number of people will probably agree with me in saying this but it's a shame that they don't officially sell the Camaro here

Think I'll get a job at an American University and move over there for a while just so I can buy a V8 Camaro for a less than an SSV!

yeah it is a shame they dont sell the camaro's there. so do people inport the new camaro there at all? Holdens arent imported here...ive never seen one before. closest thing is a GTO where someone rebadged the car to be Manaro lol.

The camaro's that come in the country are brought in by an aftermarket company and are quite rare (very $$$), though there have been some evaluation development Camaro's from Holden floating around in Melbourne a while back.

In saying this though I do drive past one often with local panel shop (owner?), which may come in handy

To give you an idea on the price of having the privilege of owning a modern US muscle in Australia car check out the link below. Yes those prices are in Australian dollars

wow those prices are crazy. but i guess over here its not a whole lot different....every once in a while you will see nissan skylines imported from japan and the r34 skylines ive seen for sale are around $60k and considering thats for a car thats 10+ years old now.

MACE, i dont know anything about cams so i thought i would ask you... is our engine being sidi make it differet from other cams?.... is it more difficult or is it not made yet cause the 3.6 SIDI is still kinda new?

Whats the stock horsepower and tourqe for the 3.6 sidi over there?
