Power Window

Hey all

I was driving home from Melbourne the other night, when I realised that when I use the power windows, all the lights on my car dim slightly. Ive also recently noticed that the driver side window is slower than all the others when going back up. Anyone have any suggestions?

Lights dimming a little shouldnt be an issue, just extra load on the electrical system while the window motor is running.

To speed the window up spray some silicone lube in the window tracks, wind the window up and down a few times, spray some more and so on till they go up nice and fast like the other windows. I used this method on my own car some time ago and have had no issues.

So silicone lube is the lube of choice then? one of mine is a little squeaky.

Yep and clean the glass inside and out, use tint safe window cleaner on the inside if you have tint.
