    Default installing aeroforce gauges

    Hey all,

I've searched but couldn't find what i was looking for.

Im awaiting a set of Aeroforce Interceptor (twin) gauges which ill be installing into my 2008 VE SS. They will be mounted in an SS Inductions holder.

now my question is, (before i start pulling the dash apart), what is the easiest/best way to run the cable from the gauges to the obd port?

if anyone has pictures or has a similar setup and can share some insight, that would be great.

    Thanks,

    Mick

Once you have the centre part of the dash removed running the wires is pretty straight forward, this is my car.

You can see that there's plenty of room to run wires, but i found it a very easy install because mine came in kit form with a wiring loom. Does yours have a loom or are you wiring from scratch?

kits come with a obdII port connector....electrical tape (coat hanger may help)around the wires and pull through the dash not hard when its all apart

Yeah it's just a cable connecting both gauges which then has a plug for the obd port. I was thinking the old coat hanger and duct tape trick. Will have to give it a crack and let you know.

    Cheers

JHP. A bit pricey but well worth it if you want the quality.
