    Default Do be e sting or bmw shark fin antennas effect factory satellite navigation

    Hey

    Wondering if anyone has a factory satellite navigation in there sedan or ute and if you have installed either a bee sting or BMW shark fin antenna. Do these antennas still support the sat nav signal or do you end up with a week signal??? Got a 2012 ssv ute on order and getting itchy to buy some accessories while i wait for it to arrive.

    Cheers

    I installed a bee sting just 2 days ago, so far no problems with the radio (had heard some people experience bad reception)... not sure about sat nav though sorry.

    You should be all good, I believe the GPS to have a dedicated GPS antenna, BTW go the shark fin. I have one on my Omega and love it.

    The GPS Antenna is located near the front rear view mirror (Just underneath it).
    So changing the Antenna will not affect GPS

    No thats the rain sensor. The GPS antenna is under the dash trim along the base of the windscreen.

    The only problem I've seen with the bee stings is that stuff like Chev badges and HIDs start appearing soon after...
    HIDs.....LEDs..... DRLs..... CHEV Badges..... ->
