    Question Rolled guards?

Hi looking at getting some rims for my new SS.

    lookin at 19's 9.5F +30, 10.5R +30

shop reckons they will be about 5mm too wide and scrub. told me ill need to get the guards rolled @_@ but the ve guards are huuggeee!!

she is also lowered on kings 65mm...

anyone had much experience with wide wheels?

    10.5 in is bloody wide!

9.5's will be no worries. A few people here have 10's and they too are fine with the guards rolled. Not sure about 10.5's but if anything, you'll definitely need the guards rolled.

The most important factor is your offset.

This has been covered about 3 times in the last couple of weeks, so do a search to find out more.

okay so sounds like +30 is going to be a pretty crazy offset. but am a massive fan of the "jdm look" flush wheels. i can imagine i may have some problems with ze popo though.

I have some SSW wheels which have a +35 offset and needed my guards rolled. They are only 9" wheels too.

Had the guards rolled the other day by Sydney Guard Rolling who will come out to you and he does an awesome job.

$65 per guard. Worth it IMO.

He lives over near Eastern Creek so he may charge to travel or you come down.
