    Default VE SS leaking fuel

Hey guys, had my car fixed under warranty on Tuesday due to the fuel gauge not working AGAIN. Anyways all is good with the fuel gauge, but this morning I could smell fuel when I was driving, i hadnt smelt it before. Got home and could still smell it. I didnt think anything of it as I had just re fueled and thought I may have spilt some on the side of the car or on myself. Wasnt until I drove the car later on and noticed a "wet" patch on the ground when i reversed, turned out it was fuel. I jacked the car up and yep, leaking fuel from somewhere around the fuel tank.It only leaks when the car is running. Its leaking from a non visible part of the tank as its running down the side and dripping onto the ground. Maybe the guys at holden didnt put it back correctly? But i just found it weird that it only started leaking today. They should fix it yeah? Is it safe to drive the car still? Cheers guys : )

Id get it towed back at their expense. Sounds like one of the hoses from/to the fuel pump is leaking or the O-ring isnt fitted properly.

I wouldnt drive a car leaking fuel, no.

make sure you rip them a new one while you are at it for placing your safety at risk...... oh and ask them to get a tradesman to do the job.... a lot of Holden dealers have a habit of using cheaper apprentice labour to do the work on cars..... it's the reason mine doesn't go to a dealer any more.
