Hi we purchased a car off Brethren's which means no radio right?! Because of their religion. They removed the aerial, so I purchased a bee stub but still no signal at all. I figured that the previous owner hadn't realised that the car has 2 aerials. Supposably the rear window is an aerial as well. So I'm guessing the next step for them was to disconnect it somewhere. I tried at the base plate but It was near impossible, I tried the pillars to see if they clipped it as an easy fix. Nope not there.. Now the head unit, not much on the net about these little babies!! So I removed the plastic bits hiding the stereo near the steering wheel and there seems to be a plug disconnected with no lead to attach to the unit itself. Can someone tell me wether I'm hot or cold or is the aerial connect at the back of the unit? Which will be the next step of getting to! hopefully a pic comes up because I'm using tapatalk on iPhone![]()
Make sure the aerial is well earth too

The antenna cable plugs in to the head unit on the passenger side. It is a little white connector and plugs in to a gold plug.

Sorted fella's I got my hand in between the glove box and the stereo. Tight fit but it worked. Thanks Bigboss. Took awhile to screw in the amount of screws I removed trying to get somewhere of removing the head unit. Funny enough I did search the forums without much luck. Hopefully this will help some poor bugger who buys a VE off a bretho.
