    Default Traction in the wet

    Hey guys
I know this may sound like a pathetic question but if my tyres are a little down, will I loose traction easier in the wet?
I've had my tyres checked and they are fine for another 12 months but all I seem to be doing in the wet is spinning them..??
    Cheers
    Steven

What sort of tyres are they? What size and what PSI are you running in them?

Maybe your "SSV look alike" is making too much power for your Omega tyres to take.

I mean, the stripes and bodykit are good for at least an extra 50 rwkw..

    Uncalled for...

Yes, if they're cheap and nasty they'll spin in the wet.. simple.

Was your car fitted with Traction control? That might help.

But if your having issues with traction in the wet, first thing you do when you wake up is go and buy a new set of tyres, before you loose control in the wet and kill someone...
Any safety concerns in a car (lack of traction is one) should be addressed immediately. Unless you like to imagine you 6er has 800hp, then head off to the local industrial area and go nuts! (literally)

I have cheapER tyres on mine... they are directional, and work very well in the dry, but their wet weather performance leaves a little to be desired. I just take it easy in the wet....

WOW!!! Crap tyres AND little tread depth. Of course they're going to be dodgy!

    Triangle...are you serious.

Plus, those tyres look pretty shagged from the pics you posted. Hard to tell though.

Michelin Pilot Sport 3 or Falken 452's

Stick with decent brands. I wouldn't touch anything under $200 per tyre.
