by the way its EXCESSV which is the Pontiac G8 from the states mocked up as a Holden SSV. I have read some info on here about it.
thanks womble66 for putting up the link
They are standard Series I Projector Lamps with a red angel eye conversion.
Angel eye conversion requires baking of headlight to remove the lense, and fit the rings, then a little custom work to route wiring around to park lamp connectors, (Or run them as DRL)...
The kits can be found on eBay, and are roughly $100-$200 depending....
Very common for the Honda/Mitsubishi/Euro Mod scene.
I fitted these to my ute with the projector lights. IMO they look great but are a pain in the ass. Gotta take out your headlights put them in the oven so you can separate the headlight fit the rings and wire them in. reassemble lights. It's a 5-6hr job if your doing it at home. Mine lasted a few months before 3leds died which made me really mad and I stopped using them. Excessv has had to redo his a few times due to the same problem. His ones are also colour changing. Can go red ,blue ,green and white.
oh really damn i was hoping i could just buy them complete. they do like so nice but i dont think i want to have to keep fixing them everytime they break. anyways guys thanks for the info
They're custom modified with angel eyes. Read the build on that Yank's car. Fairly impressive.
Iirc he had a thread on here also..
If u want something different it's generally always custom and involves some work.
the owner of the car Christiancoach is a member on here. he doesnt get on here much but he replied to the same question your asking about the headlights. when i asked a while ago.. after reading what he told me i wont be doing it on mine. happy with my SSV headlights. you got a omega there is so much you can do to this car. i got a SV6 and still got heaps more to do to mine. dropping a supercharger into it made heaps of difference not like a V8 but at least it goes a lot better now and am happy with it. have a look in the Gallery on the members cars.
Sorry for not replying sooner. I don't stop by here often. This is from a thread I posted on another forum about my lights. Not sure if it is still relevant for you.
I got them from AAC, Advanced Automotive Customs. HOWEVER, I do not recommend them. This is my second set, yes I am a glutten for punishment, and it has been a fiasco. My original orange halos were installed by AAC. They both leaked from the beginning, and had tons of condensation. After about 8 months the individual LEDS started going out. AAC always sais, just send them back in and we will fix them which is all good, but that takes two weeks, plus postage, and I don't have the tools to remove them myself, so I end up spending a couple hours of labor to remove them.
My new Halos, the color shift were put back together horribly! They don't even fit right! One of them leaks and has condensation. The remote unit was bad when I received them.
Again, AAC: "Send them back" AND DO WHAT? Not drive my car for two more weeks? They warped the shell of the headlight getting them apart, and I doubt they will be any better when they come back, to which they respond that the G8 headlights are the hardest of all cars. Guess what AAC, I DONT CARE!! If you can't do them right, then DONT DO THEM! They use more pile on the blak goop and they look like crap. I have pictures somewhere. I will see if I can find them, and post them.
They look cool as heck, but seriously, they aren't worth it.
Also, just to be clear, the tint on the headlights has drawn major attention for the local law enforcement officers, and I don't recommend it.

they do look good and want them but not sure i want the drama they they sound like they come with. did you get aac to make them or do they sell em like that?
this is where the halo kits are from. dont get them from here. many complaints about this company bad work and they have done shit jobs on the halo kits done on christancoach car. if u read about what he said to me about there work and the nightmare problems. water getting into the headlights. gone for weeks to get kits install.. glue left on lights. so johnny watch out on halo.. the halo also gets damaged by ur normal globes. the heat.. was told they dont like the heat.. i have HID in all my lights much cooler than normal globes and gives to much better light. make sure u drop them only into Projector lights. not your normal ones. the glare from normal lights will drive on coming drivers crazy. its why projectors are the best way to go.. if u do go halo u need to order them for the pontiac G8 this is the same car as holden but the usa version everything is same as the VE
this is where the halo kits were bought by christancoach

SV6.07, Thankyou for taking the time to post your experience and taking the time to honesty describe your experience with both this mod, and with the above company.
I helped a friend do this with MKIV Golf headlamps years ago.
We didn't use a Halo Kit, (Back then they weren't around).
We found something on the web describing how to do it using a venetian blind rod (Clear), a heat gun, and a couple of leds.
The blind rod is heated, and curved around something round, the same size as the headlight you are going to fit (For us it was a coffee tin),
Then LEDs are fitted at the ends (using heatshrink), and finally little grooves were cut in to th rod at regular intervals, to allow the light to diffract and shine through....
Hard to explain, the result looked good enough (Not as bright as current kits available), but sealing the headlamp afterwards was a constant problem too....
Baking the headllght yourself, and removing the lense was also not fun experience. Very nerve racking.
I have also tried baking VE rear taillights (I had one that was leaking badly, so I thought I would tear it apart, and see what I could do with it)...
Short answer, dont try this with tail light Lol !!!!!! It destroyed the one I was playing with !!!
The G8 headlights are exactly the same as the VE series 1 lights yeah?
