Question on 19" tyres on ve sv6

im wondering if its okay if i get the front 245/40 r 19 and the rear is 275/40/r19? same aspect for my ve sv6 or has it to be the same?

ok man just wondering why? its not like the v6 will have enough power to warrant 275 width tyres on the rear.
but if you wanted 275 for whatever reason you would need 275 35 19" (and a 9.5" + rim) to match the 245 40 19"

Sounds like Hsv wheel size to me.

Yes its a HSVi wheel from HSVi caprice Veloce wheels. I had my tyre slashed at the rear one.. bloody ####s. Just thinking need two new tyres to suit. Cos i heard some of the threads says its better if its wider tyres at the rears mmm

Wider tyres cost more. Like wez84 said, you don't really need tyres that wide unless you're taking it to do song laps. But if you like the staggered look then I'd say 265's should do.
