VE top speed record

I know mark skaife drove a standard VE Maloo (means thunder in aborigine) to the top speed of 277.16 kmh to set a new world record for fastest production commercial vehicle but i am curious about this... With all the VE drivers in now more modern versions of the car and with exhaust camshaft, supercharger and custom tune options being common these days, what is the highest top speed anyone here has done in a VE with the aid of modifications like these.

The fastest I have done in mine was around 260, only because i backed off due to traffic coming (it had alot more in it but i haven't had the opportunity to test it), I have also seen alot of youtube clips of VE model cars in australia and abroad doing almost 280. Surely someone has cracked 300 in one of these cammed or supercharged bad boys.

Interested to hear some stories.

I heard that the fastest speed ever set by a VE was 88 miles per hour.
