I am taking off my 20's so that they can get painted and for the time being i wanted to put stocks back on . will it just be a straight swap? or will balancing be needed etc

It all depends, really.

1. Have the stockies been balanced before?
2. How many km's did you do on the stockies since last balance?
3. How many km's do you expect to do with the 20's off?

If you plan on doing < 500km's until you get the others painted, I wouldn't bother.

- yes the stockies have been balance!
- i dont remember they have been sitting in garage for a few months now anyway
- and yerh it will only be for a few weeks!
