Default Removing VE SV6 Spoiler..... And SSV tail light

Hello, i know its simply 4 bolts, and rubber grommets but is there any factory glue/ seal shit where the spoiler touches the boot metal?

Anyone know how much SSV tail lights cost average

    Thanks.

Theres double sided tape under the spoiler but it'll just stick to the spoiler once it gets taken off. I think $169 a side on holmart.

    Ok thanks brah.

Do you know if theres a better looking grommet alternative apart from buying a new boot? the cars black so i assume it will blend well with grommets anyway

I'm all for removing the factory SS or SV6 spoliers, they serve no purpose other than looking terrible and making it difficult to see behind the car.

Spoilers on sedans .... was cool in 1985, but kind of daggy these days. The smaller boot lip spoilers look OK.

Painting the boot will cost a few hundred, just stick with the grommets. 2k is about average for 20's if that's what you're looking at. I'm looking at staggered 22's at $3400.

    Making ridiculous assumptions. Real smart..

The fastest I have done in mine was around 260, only because i backed off due to traffic coming
Why would they be coming towards you on a track???

coming towards me????? i said coming, as in coming up, you need space for braking and turning on a track.

If i was on a public road and they where coming towards me, then they would be in their own lane and I wouldn't need to back off?????? i don't get where you are going with this. Sounds like you know more about it then me!! AHAHAH where you there.
