I have noticed a dramatic difference between audio played through bluetooth from my iphone compared to using the iphone thru the ipod connector.
I have found that the bluetooth sounds satisfactorily, however, thru the ipod connector it is tinny and really crap. I have tried playing with the stetting to no avail.
Has anyone else noticed this?
and, is there a way to fix it?
I'd get the in car charger and stick with bt audio much safer to change songs
I play music through bluetooth with my nokia and sounds way better than a cd or ipod.
Are you using the USB port or 3.5 jack?
I use the USB with my iPod and don't think it sounds that bad
Some people lie so much they begin to believe there own bullshit.
I like this idea, which then leaves the USB available for a USB key with music too I suppose.
I do find the music navigation on the "system" a bit hard to use; it's slow, search by first letter only, unresponsive to some touch, hard to do while driving—not that operating your phone's music manager is any safer! lol
I'm using the ipod connector, I didn't think of trying the 3.5mm jack—I'll do that tomorrow.
But there is a definite difference, at least on my system. Try it next time you're in the car, start playing something that has good audio range (play it via BT), and then plug the ipod adapter in and listen to it kick over. The whole mids disappear.
For me it's a stark difference
edit: I couldn't help myself. I just went outside and had a play with it all. Seems I had different settings for bluetooth vs ipod. One was custom bass and treble, the other was on pop.
For a new twist... How do I disconnect the center speaker?
reedit: found this How to: Remove VE centre dash speaker
