Hi my first post, recently I had APC performance exhaust fitted,Duspeed OTR, and Mafless tune done on my ride.
The Dyno said I had 356 RWHP,what would it be at the flywheel ?How much power do you lose from flywheel to the wheels ? Also when a HSV Clubsport says 317 KW is that a the the flywheel ? My Ute has a 6 speed auto does it lose more power than a manual ?
Well no, 356 RWHP Means the horsepower at the rear wheels. And the quoted KW figure from holden/hsv on cars is at the flywheel.
Black, Red leather, 20" Pentagons, Red walls, Lowered, OTR, Mafless, 3.9s, Diff dumpers, 341rwhp...
185i, Chasers, Flappers, Venetians, Sunvisor, Twin diff dumpers, 194rwhp...

How much power do I lose from the flywheel to the rear wheels ?
As a rule of thumb - generally about 25%.
Yes generally 20% in manuals and around 25% in autos
356 rwhp = 445 ehp = 331 engine kw

- OVERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the rear.
- HORSEPOWER is how fast you hit the wall.
- TORQUE is how far you take the wall with you.
