Higher engine revs

Hi guys, when starting my 09 Omega in the mornings, the engines idles at about 1100 rpm, but then after about 30 or so seconds, the revs drop to around 800. Is this normal?

No worries then. I only bought the car a week ago, still getting used to everything.
