Just got myself a '11 series 2 thunder.

Realized when I get off of my p plates a V8 isn't really needed and I can always supercharge this if I want more power.

It's very zippy and more responsive then my VZ and the gear stick is nice and doesn't have much throw at all.

I don't know what mods I am doing as of yet, but each time I do one I will upload it and anyone watching can see, as I yet it won't be any performance mods

Yeah at the moment it's pure stock.

Also yeah mate, my buddies and I already build V8 burnout cars. So all our stuffing around will be in them and also my VZ just blew up after a few burnouts so I have learnt my lesson. This car is purely for towing and the likes. Not to get to the speed limit in two seconds.

Noticed the P plate. I thought the Thunders are over the KW limit for P platers?

Yeah I know all about the little mods. Doing a slightly biggish one and will post it when it is done. You all might think its quite crap but I will love it.

Yeap owned 4 manual cars, never an auto. And had an SV6 VZ, but this has a lot more grunt.

As for P plate legal, I looked it up first.

Do you like the gun metal gray rims, I'm not a big fan of them.

Here's a photo of my VZ with the same wheels.

I think the colour may actually be called charcoal.

I love how they only have a few spokes. I hate more then 6, I love they are big and chunky, they are square. I love them. I'm a real lover of simple square thing. Hate chrome mags with thousands of spokes.
