- 2007 Blown SSV Ute
Hey everyone!
I have myself a VE SSV Ute fitted with a Harrop Supercharger, just wondering if anyone else does too so I can
get a little bit of advice,
Its fitted with an 8pk belt system with wider pulleys and I get a fair bit of belt slip on the front under load and higher rpm
The Ute has a Gilmor drive pulley system at the rear of the blower
I have replaced the Belt tentioner and belt.
The Ute is pushing around the 440kw atw mark
Ive contacted Harrop in regards to this and they have reccommended I try their "Rewrap System" which fits two
more belt tentioners into your front pulley system to provide more tention to the belt and a greater surface area of the
belt running over the blower belt, Has anyone else used this system with there vehicle? Id love to hear some feedback if
so or other ideas if you have any!
