Why so many VE's around the place?
Everyone seems to be seeing VE's lately, driving around in public. Is this all just advertising from Holden or is it still part of testing etc.?
Saw an orange VE SS-V today in town (adelaide), my mate took a photo with his camera phone as well:

i'd say advertising, last minute road testing, probably long term reliability testing, could even be a magazine review sortof thing

holden employees drive them around to test reliability. of course you can't just build a car and expect it will work on the road. they need to put them in real situations and pick up problems that won't arise in laboratories or the proving ground.

yeh my brother has seen some get around here in canberra aswell over the weekend, i reckon it could be just advertising to showoff the new beast
