Default Bridgestone Potenza SO3 245/45ZR18 Purchase Question - Age / Problems

    Anyone remember these?

    Bridgestone Potenza SO3 245/45ZR18

Potenza SO3's are discontinued and were replaced by the Adrenalin Potenza RE001and the RE001 have been replaced by Adrenalin Potenza RE002.

My question is, are these old tyres (Bridgestone Potenza SO3 245/45ZR18 ) ok to purchase? They are new.

Would the rubber in them be too old?
    Would they wear ok?

    Cheers

I estimate the camber is currently about +0.2 degrees so i'm curious if i rotate the eccentric bush thingy to say -0.2 - 0.5 if that would cure the tyre wear ... or at least even it up by wearing more on the inseide which has more tread left.
How much adjustment is there in the bush o the inner control arm ?

Agree with 5 years although if you were gauranteed they were stored indoors in a cool place out of sunlight you could reasonably extend that 5 years by a couple more.

They might be a bit too old then.

If you have FE1 the rear camber should be –0.5° + 0.35°/–0.55° and the toe should be +0.17° ± 0.1° per wheel with a total of +0.33° ± 0.2°
