ive always loved leather, but after having it i wouldent have it again (at least not in a daily driver), it gets way to hot in summer and way to cold in winter cant go wrong with a nice soft comfy cloth trim

    I have both

Leather bolsters are a nice compromise as I agree with evil_monkey...

Leather without doubt. Tint the windows (legally) and they are not a problem in summer. I have never found them cold in winter. They are easier to keep clean and don't wear as easily as cloth.

Yep, what Reaper said. Although you will want a windscreen sun screen as well, parking a car in the sun with leather seats and no sun shade burns...

Leather seats seem to be padded differently too.

dont wear as easy ? i beg to differ

ive seen scuff marks on drivers side seats from as low as 5000kms on an otherwise immaculate car. belts, buttons etc ive never had to deal with that problem with cloth trim unless the car has done 500 thousand kms

as for cleaning though yeah just give it a wipe and shes clean, its annoying getting lint off a full cloth trim

Leather straight up. I've never had any of the problems mentioned above.

...And it looks, feels and smells sexual!

I am in and out of the car many times each day. Cloth seats tend to wear on the side bolster where the seatbelt/myself rubs getting in and out quite quickly. I have never had this problem with leather seats. It is possible to scratch the leather just the same as cloth but I have never had a problem with either. Spills, stains and other grime is easily cleaned - I give the seats a wipe with quality lether conditioner every 4 months (or so) which keeps it supple and clean making them less likely to get scratched or crack.

hrmm come to think of it, in regards to heat, perhaps its just an issue with older leathers then trapping the heat and not breathing, my previous ride 98 5.0L stato had full leather and i had darkest legal tint/sunshade and in summer it came to a point where i wouldent take the car out because of how hot it was and in winter the missus always complained about the cold seats in the morning so she wouldent take it either

I may be wrong, but cars with leather seem to have harder seats not as soft as cloth seats. But anyway I prefer leather.

I have always had leather in my holdens, as i prefer it.

But at the same time....the quality of the leather is pretty average, compared to other brands

Leather definitely, but I have heard my back seat passengers say they slide around a lot more than when on cloth!
