Default ve's air lock

just a warning to you guys with ve's, recently there have been a few ve's comming from factory with air locks in the cooling system, im not sure if its isolated to just alloytecs (we had an alloytec ute at work),

so if your temp guage goes over 1/4, ie it will jump up around 1/4 to 3/4 mark (105 to 120 degrees C) and the engine fan staying on after the ignition is turned off, get it fixed up at your dealer.

Andrew

the pre delivery inspection should already clear up that fault before its sold to the customer tho... its from the radiator cap rubber seal deforming and sucking in air instead of coolant from the overflow reservior

probably still worth checking for the problem thocos i know of a few alloytec's with cooling issues caused by airlocks
