Got just under 700 on a run (no trailer) but only 450 or so around town but it is rare for me to get a tank that doesn't include towing. That is on a SS-V auto.

The fuel tanks on the VE are 73L, so its not so decent at all. Pretty sure they all have the same sized tank.

Are you kidding me, an Ecotec V6 can't even get near 400km in a tank. Around town.
Pretty decent for a V8.

I wouldn't call it great but as I said - most of my driving includes a trailer. I should also say a refill takes around 65 liters as I hate the refill chime that keeps going off.

my stuffed supercharged v6 was able to get 400km to a tank, so id say ecotecs can get that easily. something must be wrong with yours

I get 14.5l/100k when I drive 'gently' around town.(approx 450k/tank)
I get 20l+/100k when I 'play' (320 l/tank)and
I get as low as 9.6l/100k (approx 700l/tank)on interstate trips.
Generally I seem to be around 16.5l/100k.

I get between 14 and 18 litres per 100km around town depending on my driving.
9 flat on the highway.
Slightly different motor though - LS2. With intake, cat back and tune.
73 litre tank, 98RON fuel.

Man I get over 400km in a cammed and untuned buick V6 with 3.9 diff gears and its got a tank 10L smaller than a VE.
My VS used to get 500 to a tank around town.
