Hi All, I am a new member from South Africa. Having recently bought myself a Lumina SS I have keenly followed this site and decided to join when I saw all the good advice and news.
Hope to enjoy the stay.
All the best,
Dougie.

I agree STEALTHY but my previous every day car is a 95 Mustang which is lowered to max. I just want to give my bum a rest for now.
Yes 95 is the highest we have other than 93 and 95 we have led replacement for older cars but I'm not sure of the rating.

That would have to be the minimum Holden would want you to run it on, yeah?

I agree with the boot lid sticker it's long gone, the pics are all I had on my PC which was taken just after I got the car.
Your Ute looks fantastic and yes they are available now. When the VE was introduced with the 6.0 motor the Utes came out with the 6.0 but the old body style. It's only a month or two ago that the Utes now also have the VE style body.

Hi holdfast, thanks and as for the power outages it's getting better now. The problem was no maintenance and poor management, I just hope it keeps improving.

The Lumina has no competition is SA. Ford won't bring in the Falcon, so the only other V8 you can get is a Merc or BM for more than four times the price. If you want a V8 and value for money it's all you can buy so there is a lot of them floating around.

G'day Dougie, welcome to the forum.
Have you got any pictures of the interior? I'm interested to see if there is much different to the ones we have here in Australia. Looking at the exterior pics you posted, it looks to be a cross between a SS and a SSV. It has SS wheels but SSV tail lights. Interested to see if it has the colour LCD screen and other interior luxuries that the SSV has or if it has the single colour displays etc like the SS.
Do you guys have an SSV over there or is there just the SS

Welcome!
Nice car, i really like the Ignition VE's.
Dont know why they stopped the colour. Same with Morpheous. Two of the best colours they've come out with. Aside from Atomic.
The SSV tail-lights look better on SS's in my opinion, notice the plates are different front to rear, or just two different times?
