Default VE SS Ute - Hard lid..

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if you can order a hard lid for the VE SS Ute through the dealer when ordering??

I'll ask when I go in this weekend but haven't seen them on any of the accessory lists for this car..only the soft torneau cover.

If not, where's the best place in SA to go for these??

yes you can, just dont go for the genuine holden one as they are substandard and are still having issues, go for the egr ones they supply they are far better, check my profile for pictures of the lid.the question to ask with other suppliers that supply the lids other than holden supplied, have they been crash tested? as if someone runs in the back of you goodbye head.

EGR is the best one around at the moment.

The geniune one is CRAP! And the EGR is the only non-genuine that works with the central locking and has a light installed.

Trosal - checked out your profile, that style of lid is exactly what I'm after!
Nice car, looks pretty much exactly like what I'm looking at ordering except I want leather interior.

Thanks for recommending the EGR everyone, picked the car up last night (finally - few delays!) and am very happy with the lid. Exactly like yours actually Trosal. Really sets the car off. Will get some pics this weekend when it's light. Last nights pics a bit dark..

goodwork, still loving mine, and the light and central locking on the lid is a blessing as they come in handy for me,craps on my old ute and hardlid.
