Default SS floor mats not fitting

My genuine SS mats seem to have the eyelets too close together as they pop off the retaining studs.

My dealer said this was a common problem and that they were waiting for Holden to come up with a solution. Replacing them would not help because the new ones would do the same. That was ages ago and my sympathetic service guy has now left the company.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Any fix from Holden that you know of?

the fix is to remove the eyeleys from the mat & enlarge the holes so they align with the pins in the carpet. the eyelets pop apart easily
this is from the latest bulletins

My Holden mats don't fit perfectly either. The passenger side have the eyelets too close, but the drivers side is OK! I just live with it now.
